We are delighted to be selected for a Dublin Pilot Programme launched by Composting Ireland. The aim of the programme is to help schools set up and start composting to reduce waste, save money and combat climate change. Today, Craig Benton, a specialist from Composting Ireland, visited our school to help us create a plan for a composting system. This includes a plan for a wormery next year to combat food waste from staff lunches. Thank you to Fingal County Council for our €250 voucher which will help us on our road to becoming a greener school.
