MPETNS was delighted to be presented with the Digital School of Europe Award by Minister of European Affairs Thomas Byrne and Dr. Daithí Ó Murchú from D.W.E.C. We were thrilled to be joined on the day by Minister Joe O'Brien and T.D. Alan Farrell as well as members of our Board of Management to help us celebrate this wonderful achievement.
Also present on the day were the team from RTÉ's news2day who interviewed students from across the school on how digital technologies impact on their learning. The children were only too happy to explain how digital literacy skills such as movie-making, podcasting and coding are enabling them to learn and create in new and exciting ways.
