Congratulations and well done to our 5th and 6th class students who were invited to perform with the Cross Border Orchestra in the National Concert Hall. The children were amazing, their behaviour was exemplary and they had a ball!

We have been having lots of fun in Junior Infants, meeting new friends, getting to know each other and building a routine. We read the story "The Crown on Your Head" and then made our own crowns. We have also been doing lots of fine motor activities such as cutting, beading, tracing and using tweezers!

Senior Infants went to Airfield Estate in Dundrum and had THE BEST time!

The children have been really enjoying planting and growing veg and fruit in our polytunnel. We have broad beans, peas, carrots, strawberries, potatoes, courgettes and many more! Well done everyone!

The children in 3rd class worked with Clean Coasts this week to keep our coasts clean. We had a great workshop followed by a big beach clean at Portmarnock beach. They were rewarded with a picnic and a paddle in the sea afterwards. Well done everyone!

We had a wonderful sunny Global Feast this year. The children dressed up in their cultural clothes and tasted many dishes from around the world. The food was delicious and plentiful - thank you to every parent/child who baked or cooked or offered food! We raised over 900 euro for As I Am - Ireland's Autism Charity, well done everyone!

Well done to the amazing team in Kate's 3rd Class, whose project 'Allergy Bracelets' was shortlisted for the STEPS Young Engineers Awards. Out of hundreds of projects, Sophie, Nessa, Darcey, Maria, Frankie and Julieta's project came in the top 30! A super achievement and we are so extremely proud of them and their project.

Senior Infants had an amazing Book Week. We made Gruffalo art, turned ourselves into Where's Wally, decorated our classroom door with Mr. Men & Little Miss characters, had some parents come in to read to us (thank you to all who were able to help out), we had a dress up parade and we got to see tadpoles in our buddy classroom (Isolde’s 4th class). A busy but fun week!

An exciting visit from the Garda today to tell us all about their uniform including their handcuffs, baton, radios and padded vests.
